Cyberia

Postby King Lewis » Wed Feb 03, 2010 1:59 am

Greetings King Lewis,

You may know me from my postings on the MCS forum and as its former Admin-General. The Virtual Commonwealth of Cyberia has recently been resurrected and, as a citizen of Cyberia, I have been asked to seek and audience with Your Majesty so that I may present our request to repatriate our former territory.

Cyberia wishes to re-assert its former territory on Micras; and this is presently held by Hamland and Gralus. Hamland holds a much smaller portion of the land, so we hope that this proposal is amenable and not too inconvenient. We wish to exchange the land you presently hold that was formerly Cyberian in lieu of staking out a new claim of equal size, in a location of your choice.

For reference purposes, you might wish to review the archived map at the MCS of our former territory.

We sincerely hope that you will give this proposal serious consideration, as it would mean a great deal to our nation.

Thank you,
Ryan Caruso
Cyberian Minister of the Interior

I have received this message from a foreign dignitary from Cyberia. The said claim involves our island claims in the south including the historic military outpost of Kydros. I wish to put it forward to the general populace to discuss.

Why not put it through Parliament? That might stir up a bit of debate. :)

I don't know if it is a parliamentary debate. I'll put a motion in. We've only got 4 days to get a result before the dissolution.

Your Majesty, thank you for taking up our request with your good nation.

Has your Parliament had time to consider our proposal?

I've put it into the chamber. It's going to take a while to sort out as we've got an election to have, but I hope to get a decision to you by the end of the month.

Thank you for the timely response, Your Majesty.

Unfortunately, our negotiations with Gralus over the remainder of the land have proven negative and they wish to retain it. Therefore we have decided to claim elsewhere on Micras. So I must withdraw our request.

But thank you again for taking the time to consider our request. I hope that Cyberia will continue to have amicable relations with Hamland well into the future.

Dear Sir,

I thank you for coming to visit our country and try to sort out a deal. It was most mature and honourable.

I also hope we will have a positive future.

Thanks,
King Lewis
